Hi my lovelies!
Have you ever heard about this brand? Swiss Clinic. I was pretty lucky to receive a lot of products from their new range in a PR package. When I received it I had an idea. I want to review Scandinavian beauty brands and tell you which ones to look out for. At the moment I have two other brands lined up to review. If you have any requests please leave a comment! I myself couldn’t find a lot of information about these brands in English so I hope these review will be useful to you.
Contrary to what the name suggest the products are actually developed in Sweden. Living in Scandinavia it is hard to get certain popular brands here but the advantage is that I can test Scandinavian beauty brands and tell you which ones are worth buying.
I have been testing these products for a good month and a bit and I must say I am impressed by:
-the packaging, it is pretty luxe and beautiful with sanitary pumps. Although, one of my bottles came broken with the silver bit coming out. When you pay that much for a product you expect it to be without faults in the packaging department. I admit that it was one off though.
-the ingredients are pretty amazing. Biomimetic peptides which are supposed to minimise wrinkles. Hyaluronic Acid makes the skin retain more moisture.
-effectivness of the eye-cream. While using the eye-cream from the range I noticed my under eye lines being plumped up. I suffer from a lot of wrinkles under the eyes so that is what I look in an eye-cream.
I have not seen any huge difference in my wrinkles otherwise on my forehead but I will update you on this when I finish the whole product. The smell of the products is quite neutral so good for people with sensitive noses like me. Also the creams are super rich but not heavy. You need 1 to 1,5 pumps to cover your whole face and the amount that comes out in 1 pumps is very small. This means that you get more applications than in a normal moisturiser which can justify the hefty price tag.
The whole line concentrates on replenishing and nourishing the skin which is perfect for dryer and more mature skin types. I can attest it truly does that. I will be repurchasing the eye cream for sure and the serum, as for the other products I still need to see. At the moment they are acting as great skincare moisturising products but I am a type of person that invests in serums and facial oils more than face creams. To pay £69 for a day cream would be too much for me if I did not see significant results. I will update you on that.
What do you think?
