NEW Love Osmanthus from Atelier Cologne

Love Osmanthus is the newest Atelier Cologne fragrance launched in 2019 although I only just got to discover it this week. I have always really liked the house because of some of my other favourites like Vanille Incensee and Orange Sanguine. To me its a house that does fresh scents extremely well and they always smell super natural. If you are looking for a warm weather scent, Atelier Cologne is the go to brand!

Review

The Scent

When I first sprayed on Love Osmanthus, the fragrance immediately made me smile because of its bright citrus freshness. The lemon is so mouth watering and then it turns into lemon candy! Additionally there is a delicate cedar base and as the name suggests, Chinese Osmanthus. Overall this fragrance reminded me a lot of Light Blue Pour Femme from D&G but… in my opinion LO is much more beautiful. The natural components of this fragrance make it so much more soft and delicate than the D&G. In Light Blue Pour Femme, the harshness of the opening always bothered me a little. Here it’s non existent and the fragrance feels like you’re smelling a 3D version of Light Blue.

Longevity & Projection

As for longevity the fragrance lasts about 4h on my skin and projects moderately. To be honest that’s what I expected as citrus fragrances and especially those with a lot of naturals usually don’t last super long. They are worth it though since the scent is just stunning. I re-spray fragrances all the time so if you are a re-sprayer like me, that’s not really an issue.

Final Thoughts

I am definitely going to start wearing it more and more in the spring and summer time. It’s such a happiness booster fragrance. So if you’re looking for a fresh, light and delicious fragrance to keep in your bag on the go or a fragrance for hot summer day, this is the fragrance for you.
